I am just throwing this out there. I would have never known to this day about Katja Glieson, the name alone, if it were not for an email months ago saying I had messages at ReverbNation. I had no idea I could receive messages or had a message box at ReverbNation let alone forgot I ever signed up to that site. Out of many messages from artist to check out there music, one was Katja Glieson. I would have only heard about her when she is main stream. Along with her message to check out her music, were a couple of other artist that were really good. But by all means Katja is at the top. Anyways, one of the artist ask me to go to a site to vote on their song. This artist is on a guess what’s a small label, has opened up for major artist, but still I guess trying to get up there I have no idea how things work, I thought when your signed that you just take off, things are strange these days. But this site I signed into, set up a profile, free. You can sign up like me and just vote on artist music and the artist signed or not signed to people very very low key singing in their home sort of speak to very productively well made videos, from across the globe are on there. After setting up a profile and voting for this artist video, in which all videos on there are straight from their YouTube channels. I have received Numerous emails from people on there to friend them on the site and vote for their video they have put in under one contest ” covers”, to the second contest under “originals”. By all means I check out as many as I can, and I have stopped at who is all following me on twitter and left it at that. They’re the ones who actually I have seen since about winter time keep growing and growing in the field of music. So where I am getting at, I don’t know anything about behind the business of Katja the label and the management. The world wide web is so vast. But by all means I have nothing to do with this site but a registered free user to vote, I’m aloud to put up a video if I want but its not a comical site lol (Horrible at music) lol So with this site with so many people world wide on there getting their videos from YouTube voted on for prize money in either the category of covers, or the category of originals. Most artist friend each other and vote for one another and there are many people like myself who is not an artist are on there. By all means the #1 spot prize money is nothing really. I just thought it is just one great place to put up that cover of Katja’s under covers to get her name out there, and this is on the global side of things. By all means that cover is a smash, puts videos on there to shame. So just a thought and don’t know anything about what she can do or wants to do. I think this is just one place out of many not for prize money but to get her name circulated out there. ANd by all means even if people don’t voted the number of views on the video will climb.Just one avenue that I really think would be great to put that cover song at, to attract people to her YouTube channel and this website! Just an idea and just trying to help with getting her name out there, the music will speak for itself if just people can see and listen to it. Sorry for the long message!
